America and its Prejudice voter

Today there is a vast amount of content,opinions and articles to read out there on the web, in regards to this campaign race. Majority that I have read are usually blogs, and personal responses to articles and forums. When trying to get a feel of how people are going to vote, or their political opinions I stay away from the right left news sites. The point of this would be to get a feel for average joe, and not the opinions of some hot shot journalist from a news network. So I set out to do just that.

Scouring various sites on a daily basis became a second job for me. I jotted down various responses, and entries from many different sources. While doing this. I stumbled upon a vast majority of extremely prejudice posts that changed my whole project. Now, before you think that I might be referring to posts like "McCain sucks and is old" Or Barack Obama sucks and has big ears" think again and read ahead. Yes, I am talking about the comments or entries that include racist undertones, or just blatant racists statements.

I will state that everyone has a right to free speech, and I will not attack that. What I want to ask is, would or do you honestly base your vote, your one chance to make a difference, on such a shallow determination? Do people really do this? Voting on what a candidate could do for us as a nation would be more important, am I wrong on this? Well, for some that's not the case. For those who read this, I just wanted to ask a question. Would you vote on the basis of color, if the candidate you were choosing went against every other belief that you have? This may not be the case for some, but for others it seems that it is.

This is pertained to all. May you be black,white,Hispanic or whatever. The fact of the matter is we are Americans, we have a duty to enlighten ourselves, and help guide the United States for the better wouldn't you say? After all, take a look around. We have much bigger problems on our plate than the color of someones skin.

This article was not written to tell you whom to vote for. Nor was it created to take away ones right to an opinion. Personally, I think both candidates have their good and bad.The sole reason for it, is that just maybe it will reach someone out there, that might think that our future as a country is more important than such simple and shallow prejudices.We all know this type of thing exists within our government, and its politicians. The possibility to make a difference is you, its that simple.

McCain takes a new stand

At a rally in Minnesota, John McCain took a stand against some of the slander that has been thrown around about Barack Obama.

John McCain stated that "Barack is a decent family man, and a citizen that he has disagreements with on fundamental issues. That's what this campaign is all about". McCain's statement was in reply to comments regarding voters being afraid of Obama, and another saying he is an Arab. McCain also said that they need not to be afraid of Obama, after a supporter made a comment about being afraid if Obama was elected.

After reading and watching these statements, McCain has a good chance a gaining some ground back. I'm not saying he just defended Obama's character for one this reason, but stepping up like that could open a new gate for other voters. On the other hand one could think he would lose some of his voters, not likely. It is clear that the hard core ones that take a hard stance against the Obama campaign will be going nowhere. After all, some of them are crossing the line, showing everybody that they are too far in to turn back.

These ads, statements and comments really need to be toned down. Just think, all these negative remarks and actions going around could really lead to outside physical rage and or violence, and that is something the United States really needs to avoid. This could also lead to pulling Americans farther apart, not just politically, but emotionally. Maybe after all is said and done, and the new president has been seated, we could be feeling the backlash from this election battle for a long time. In reality, if you think about it, this really could be detrimental to the longevity of our government and citizens coming together as one per say. After all, regardless of Democrat or republican, we still have to work in uni sen.

P. Diddy On John McCain, States he is “Buggin’ the F**k Out”

I was searching through political relevant videos as I always do in the morning,when suddenly i came across one that read"John McCain is Bugging The F*** Out" by Sean P Diddy Combs. now usually I wouldn't really take a look at such a video, but I though that maybe just maybe he would have some solid analysis. So i watched it and this is my take on it.

The video started off with Diddy criticizing John McCain VP pick of Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska.he kept repeating McCain is bugging the F*** out for the first few minutes. The content that followed this was, well how can i put it? I felt dumber for watching it . Diddy went on and on about nonsense for a bit. When the video came across the midway point, I was met with a true prize of all political opinions. Diddy stated "What is the reality in Alaska? There’s not even no crack heads in Alaska. There’s not even no black people? There’s not even like no…crime?

Now what would an average reader take from that statement? Is Diddy insisting that to have crime, crack, or reality the state must contain African Americans? Well Diddy I am not an African American but its truly sad when you make a statement like that. One that could effect the people that look up to you. Considering you are a big named celebrity, you should put a little more thought and merit in what you have to say before you go blabbing a slew of empty thoughts. Yes we are all entitled to our opinion, but when you put yours out there on video for people to watch, you should really use your celeb prowess to influence people with some kind of educated opinion.

These kind of posts from big named celebs in our country can have a significant impact on voters, especially young voters whom follow Diddy as a role model. What kind of content is he giving young voters to go off of? Let's all base our voting off whether crack,crime, and specific races are present where our leaders might come from. Let us tell everyone that might not have a mixed race community not to vote for Barack Obama. Now if I said that a lot of voters would probably say I am an idiot right?

I am not saying whom to vote for. I just think that the voters deserve some real reasons to vote either way. I will admit Diddy has done some good with the young voters in the past, and I do appreciate it. But instead of taking steps forward to influence and keep voters educated, he took ten steps back.
